Indonesia's Trade Balance with Tajikistan Shows a Surplus of US$0.47 Million

Indonesia's trade balance with Tajikistan showed a surplus of US$0.47 million in 2020. However, this surplus fell sharply by -64.61% compared to the previous year's balance of US$1.34 million.

The decline in Indonesia's trade balance with Tajikistan was due to Indonesian exports to Tajikistan amounting to only US$0.48 million, while imports reached US$4,000.

The three main products imported from Tajikistan were live animals (HS 01), meat offal and edible meat (HS 02), and fish and crustaceans, molluscs and other aquatic invertebrates (HS 03).

Indonesian exports to Tajikistan have been declining over the past year. The previous year's export value was US$1.37 million.

Based on product type, one main export product from Indonesia to Tajikistan recorded a surplus throughout 2020. The total export value of this main product reached US$0.48 million.

Globally, the trade balance for all goods improved this time due to an increase in several types of goods. Indonesia's total trade balance was recorded at US$21.68 billion, or a 703.56% increase.
