Indonesia's trade balance with Saint Lucia showed a surplus of US$1.15 million in 2020. However, this surplus decreased by -37.49% compared to the previous year's US$1.85 million.
The decline in Indonesia's trade balance with Saint Lucia was due to Indonesian exports to Saint Lucia amounting to only US$1.16 million, while imports reached US$1,000.
The three main products imported from Saint Lucia were: Soap, organic surface-active agents, washing preparations, lubricating preparations, manufactured... (HS 34), Albuminoidal substances; modified starches; glues; enzymes (HS 35), and Explosives; pyrotechnic products; matches; pyrophoric alloys; certain easily combustible preparations (HS 36).
Indonesia's exports to Saint Lucia have been declining over the past year. The previous year's export value was US$1.86 million.

Globally, the trade balance for all goods improved due to increases in several product categories. Indonesia's total trade balance was recorded at US$21.68 billion, a 703.56% increase. In other words, Indonesia recorded a trade surplus. The previous year's trade balance with all countries worldwide was recorded at US$-3.59 billion.
