KPI: Despite Increase, Ahok-Djarot's Electability Remains Lowest

Based on an electability survey conducted by the Indonesian Political Consulting Institute (LKPI) in January 2017, the Agus-Sylvi pair ranked first with 26.8 percent, followed by Anies-Sandi with 26.2 percent, and lastly Ahok-Djarot with 25.8 percent. 21.2 percent of respondents were undecided.

Compared to the LKPI survey in November 2016, the electability of the Ahok-Djarot pair saw a slight increase, while Agus-Sylvi and Anies-Sandi showed a tendency to decline. Nevertheless, the Ahok-Djarot pair still couldn't overtake the other two pairs. Furthermore, a decrease in undecided voters was also observed.

This survey was conducted from January 13-26, 2017, involving 600 respondents in Jakarta through face-to-face interviews and questionnaire completion. The sampling method used was multistage random sampling, with a margin of error of 3.9 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
