Food Prices Today, December 19, in DKI Jakarta: Eggs Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (19/12/2025) at 2:44 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were broiler chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, and premium packaged palm cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, shallots, large red chili, Minyakita, and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken eggs saw the highest jump of Rp200 (0.64%) to Rp31,650 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp4,250 (6.31%) to Rp63,100 per kg.
