LSI Survey: Anies's Winning Potential, AHY's Electability as Vice Presidential Candidate Surpasses Puan's

A survey by the Independent Survey Institute (LSI) reveals that Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) is the most potentially winning vice presidential candidate (cawapres) for Anies Baswedan in the 2024 General Election.

"The Chairman of the Democratic Party, AHY, obtained 26.4 percent in the electability survey as a cawapres, and in second place is Puan Maharani with 16.2 percent electability as a vice presidential candidate," explained LSI Research Director Fathur Rahman on November 29, 2022, as reported by Antara.

According to the survey, AHY is the running mate who can propel Anies to victory in the 2024 Presidential Election. Fathur explained that the most capable and potentially winning vice presidential candidate is, of course, one with the highest electability.

"Currently, in the electability survey, Anies Baswedan has the highest result with 19.6 percent electability, followed by Prabowo Subianto in second place with 18.1 percent, and Ganjar Pranowo in third place with 13.2 percent," he said.

The survey sampled Indonesian citizens with voting rights in 34 provinces across Indonesia.

From this population, 1,500 respondents were randomly selected, with a margin of error of 3.05 percent at a 95 percent confidence level. In this survey, LSI conducted interviews via cellular network from November 18 to 28, 2022.
