SMRC: Top 10 Highest-Scoring Candidates for Vice President

Saiful Mujani Research & Consulting conducted a survey to identify national figures who garner public attention as potential vice presidential candidates. The results show that Joko Widodo remains the top contender with a score of 7.8.

The top ten rankings include several well-known national figures. These include Mahfud MD, Sri Mulyani, Chairul Tanjung, Airlangga Hartarto, and Prabowo Subianto. Furthermore, Police Commissioner General Syafruddin is ranked tenth.

The survey utilized three groups of respondents to ensure reliable results. The first group comprised elites, the second consisted of opinion leaders, and the third group was composed of national voters. The assessments from elites and opinion leaders were based on several variables, including capability, empathy, integrity, acceptability, and continuity. National voters, however, considered only the level of acceptance/likeability.
