The General Election Commission (KPU) has released a report on the campaign funds of the presidential (capres) and vice-presidential (cawapres) candidates for the 2024 General Election.
For the period of November 16-26, 2023, the initial campaign funds of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair were recorded as the largest, far exceeding those of Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD and Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar.
The regulations regarding campaign fund reporting are stipulated in KPU Regulation (PKPU) Number 18 of 2023, issued on September 1, 2023.
According to these regulations, campaign funds for the 2024 General Election can be obtained from individual, corporate, and/or non-governmental business entity contributions. However, the amount of these contributions is limited.
The maximum amount of individual contributions for presidential and vice-presidential candidates is Rp2.5 billion, while contributions from companies and non-governmental organizations are capped at Rp25 billion.
The following details the initial campaign funds of the three presidential and vice-presidential candidate pairs, as reported by *Katadata*:
Prabowo-Gibran

* Goods from political parties or coalitions of political parties: Rp600 million
* Services from political parties or coalitions of political parties: Rp28.83 billion
* Total: Rp31.43 billion
This pair, number 2 on the ballot, is supported by the United Indonesia Coalition, comprising Gerindra, Golkar, PAN, PBB, Demokrat, PSI, and Garuda.
Ganjar-Mahfud
* Funds from the candidate pair: Rp100 million
* Funds from political parties or coalitions of political parties: Rp2.95 billion
* Funds from individual contributions from other parties: Rp1.67 million
* Funds from contributions from companies and/or non-governmental business entities: Rp20.32 billion
* Total: Rp23.32 billion
This pair, number 3 on the ballot, is supported by PDIP, PPP, Hanura, and Perindo.
Anies-Muhaimin
* Funds from the candidate pair: Rp1 billion
* Total: Rp1 billion
This pair, number 1 on the ballot, is supported by the Change Coalition, comprising Nasdem, PKB, and PKS.
