Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) released its latest survey, titled *Voter Response to the Anies-Muhaimin Pairing*, September 2023 edition.

The survey simulated three potential presidential (capres) and vice-presidential (cawapres) candidate pairings: Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (or Cak Imin), Prabowo Subianto-Erick Thohir, and Ganjar Pranowo-Ridwan Kamil.

The Ganjar-Ridwan Kamil pairing achieved the highest electability, at 35.4%. Prabowo-Erick Thohir followed with 31.7% of respondent votes.

Meanwhile, Anies-Muhaimin, who have declared their pairing under the AMIN coalition, received the lowest electability, garnering only 16.5% of respondent votes.

"This is public reaction a few days after the Anies-Muhaimin declaration. The expectation that this pairing's support would increase post-declaration has not materialized," said SMRC founder Saiful Mujani on his official website, Thursday (September 14, 2023).

Saiful assessed that this is because the political machinery of the parties supporting Anies-Muhaimin is "not yet hot," thus voters need time to join the ranks of AMIN supporters.

To date, Anies's presidential rivals have yet to determine their vice-presidential running mates.

"Of course, the Ganjar and Prabowo pairings could change, but at least the Anies-Muhaimin pairing is relatively stable," said Saiful.

The SMRC survey involved 1,211 respondents aged 17 and above or who are married and have telephones. The sample was taken using random digit dialing (RDD).

Data collection was conducted from September 5-8, 2023, through telephone interviews. The survey has a margin of error of approximately 2.9% and a confidence level of 95%.
