The General Election Commission (KPU) has officially finalized the Permanent Voter List (DPT) for the 2024 General Election, totaling approximately 204.8 million voters.
This figure comprises voters both domestically and internationally, distributed across 514 regencies/cities, 38 provinces, and 128 representative countries.
The highest number of domestic voters for the 2024 General Election is in West Java Province, while the lowest is in South Papua Province, as shown in the graph above.
Furthermore, by island/region, the largest number of voters is on Java Island, comprising approximately 56% of the total national voters. Maluku-Papua has the fewest voters.

Based on KPU Regulation Number 7 of 2022, voters in the 2024 General Election are Indonesian citizens who meet the following requirements:
(a) At least 17 years old on election day, married, or previously married;
(b) Not currently deprived of their voting rights based on a final and binding court decision;
(c) Domiciled in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, proven by an e-KTP (electronic ID card);
(d) Domiciled abroad, proven by an e-KTP, passport, and/or travel document in lieu of a passport;
(e) If the voter does not yet possess an e-KTP as referred to in (c) and (d), a Family Card may be used; and
(f) Not currently serving as a member of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) or the Indonesian National Police (Polri).
