However, the proportion of respondents who have not yet decided on their preferred vice presidential candidate is still high. 44.4% of respondents did not answer or kept their choice confidential.

"The confidentiality or hesitation of the public to make a choice may be because they are still waiting for the final momentum regarding the coalition of political parties supporting the prospective presidential and vice-presidential candidates," said the Litbang Kompas team.

This Litbang Kompas survey was conducted on 1,364 respondents randomly selected using a stratified systematic sampling method in 38 provinces.

Data was collected from July 27 to August 7, 2023, using face-to-face interview methods. This survey has a margin of error of approximately 2.65% and a 95% confidence level.
