A survey by the Institute for Democracy and Strategic Affairs (Indostrategic) shows that Gerindra Party Chairman Prabowo Subianto has the highest electability if the presidential election (Pilpres) were held today. The electability of the Defense Minister reached 17.5%.
Prabowo also achieved the highest popularity, namely 92.8%. In addition, the likability rating for Prabowo was recorded at 74%.
Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is in second place with an electability of 17%. He is followed by Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo with an electability of 8.1%.
West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil has an electability of 7%. Meanwhile, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf), Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, has an electability of 6.8%.
The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, has an electability of 6.4%. Following him is Social Minister Tri Rismaharini with an electability of 4.1%.
Former TNI Commander General (Ret.) Gatot Nurmantyo is in eighth place with an electability of 1.8%. Meanwhile, the Governor of East Java and Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir have electability of 1.8% and 1%, respectively.
In addition, there are a number of figures with electability below 1%. 2.4% of respondents chose other figures, 6.8% kept their choice secret, and 15.4% stated they did not know/did not answer.

Indostrategic surveyed 2,400 respondents in 34 provinces from March 23 to June 1, 2021. The survey used a multistage random sampling method. The margin of error in this survey is 2%.
