The latest poll by Indikator Politik shows that presidential and vice-presidential candidates (presidential-vice presidential candidates) number 02, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, achieved the highest electability compared to other candidate pairs in the 2024 Presidential Election simulation.
Prabowo-Gibran were chosen by 45.8% of the total respondents in the survey conducted from November 23 to December 1, 2023. This electability increased by 6.1 percentage points from the previous survey period (October 27 - November 1, 2023), which was 39.7%.
This achievement also makes Prabowo-Gibran the only candidate pair to experience an increase in electability in the last two Indikator Politik survey periods.
Meanwhile, the second highest electability was achieved by candidate pair number 03, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, at 25.6%. This figure decreased by 3.4 percentage points from the survey period of October 27 - November 1, 2023, which was 30%.
Candidate pair 01, Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, received 22.8% of the vote. This achievement decreased slightly by 1.6 percentage points from the survey conducted from October 27 to November 1, 2023, which was 24.4%.
In addition, 5.8% of respondents answered "don't know/didn't answer" (DK/DA) in the period from November 23 to December 1, 2023.
The survey population consisted of 1,200 respondents proportionally distributed. An oversample was then conducted in 15 provinces, namely Aceh, North Sumatra, Riau, South Sumatra, Lampung, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Banten, Bali, NTT, West Kalimantan, South Sulawesi, and Papua. The total sample size was 5,380 respondents.
Respondents were all Indonesian citizens with voting rights, i.e., over 17 years old or married at the time of the survey.
The sample was drawn using multistage random sampling. Data collection was conducted from November 23 to December 1, 2023, using a face-to-face method. A sample size of 1,200 respondents has a margin of error of approximately 2.9% at a 95% confidence level.
