Populix conducted a survey on the public's perception of the energy-saving policies that the Indonesian government plans to implement.

The results showed that 37% of respondents want clear and consistent policies.

The public also hopes that these policies won't disrupt productivity, as chosen by 18% of respondents. A similar proportion of respondents want long-term solutions.

There are also respondents who hope for support from facilities such as alternative energy for transportation (13%), transparency regarding the reasons and impacts of the policies (11%), and education for the public (3%).

In addition, the government plans to implement a work-from-home (WFH) policy one day a week for civil servants and private companies.

Populix found that 43% of respondents agreed with this policy proposal. While 10% disagreed and 50% were neutral.

This Populix survey involved 2,100 respondents across Indonesia. Data collection was conducted online through the PopPoll channel from March 30 to April 1, 2026.
