The results of a survey by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) show that 69.8% of respondents in Indonesia admit to being satisfied with current democratic practices.

This proportion consists of 9.5% who stated they are very satisfied and 60.3% who are moderately satisfied.

However, 27.4% stated the opposite. Breaking it down, 25.2% said they are not satisfied with the functioning of democracy in their country, and 2.2% are not satisfied at all.

This survey involved 2,020 respondents aged 17 and above, spread across all regions of Indonesia. The respondents were selected using a multistage random sampling method.

The data collection was conducted from March 4 to 12, 2026, through face-to-face interviews with trained interviewers, with a survey error margin of plus-minus 2.2% and a 95% confidence level.
