This is evident from Jakpat's *Indonesia Sports Habits and Healthy Lifestyle Part 2* survey, showing that 77% of Gen Z and 74% of millennials choose local brands. This survey on local sports brands targeted 2,955 respondents who use domestic products. However, the broader survey on sports habits and healthy lifestyles involved 3,934 respondents. The overall respondent demographics consisted of 48% male and 52% female. By generation, 51% were Gen Z and 49% were millennials.

Respondent age breakdown: 16-19 years (14%); 20-25 years (22%); 26-29 years (14%); 30-35 years (22%); 36-39 years (14%); and 40-45 years (13%).

The sample was taken from Jabodetabek and South Tangerang; Java (West Java, East Java, Central Java, Banten (excluding Tangerang and South Tangerang), Yogyakarta); and outside Java (major cities in Bali, Medan, Padang, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Bandar Lampung, Samarinda, Balikpapan, Manado, Makassar, and Jayapura). The online survey was conducted via the Jakpat application from April 22-28, 2024, with a margin of error below 5%.
