The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) collects data on Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) in all Indonesian provinces. Based on this data, the following are the 10 provinces with the highest GFCF in the country.
DKI Jakarta ranks first. The BPS recorded a GFCF of Rp1.18 quadrillion in this province. Year-on-year data shows a 7.08% increase compared to the same period the previous year.
Next is East Java, recording a GFCF of Rp802.4 trillion, higher than the same period the previous year. Year-on-year data shows an 8.2% increase in GFCF in this province compared to the previous year.
Furthermore, West Java's GFCF increased by 11.7% to Rp644.38 trillion compared to the same period the previous year, Central Java with a GFCF of Rp509.38 trillion (up 6.45%), and Riau with a GFCF of Rp338.32 trillion (up 6.52%).
