International Rice Price at Rp 5362.1 per Kg (Tuesday, November 28, 2023)

Unmilled rice prices on the international market rose on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, compared to the previous day. Daily transactions for unmilled rice futures contracts for the next two months were traded at USD 17.353 per hundredweight. This is equivalent to Rp 5,362.1 per kg, calculated using the Bank Indonesia exchange rate of Rp 15,450 per dollar.

Based on historical data from investing.com, Katadata Insight Center (KIC) calculations show that the average unmilled rice price over the last week was USD 17.394 per hundredweight. This average price is higher than the previous week's USD 16.88 per hundredweight.

Meanwhile, monthly unmilled rice prices have shown an upward trend over the past 30 days. The average unmilled rice price for November was USD 16.87 per hundredweight, a 5.85 percent increase compared to the previous month's USD 15.94 per hundredweight. The highest average monthly unmilled rice price in the last 12 months was recorded in June 2023.
