A number of large-asset banks in Indonesia have submitted their corporate financial reports for Q3 2025, covering the January-September 2025 period.
These major banks include BRI, Mandiri, BNI, BCA, and BTN.
The largest net profit was recorded by BCA, amounting to Rp43.4 trillion. BCA is the only private bank on this list. Meanwhile, the lowest profit was recorded by BTN, with a value of Rp2.3 trillion.
Below, Databoks compiles the net profits of the five largest banks in Indonesia according to each company's financial reports published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as of Q3 2025:
- PT Bank Central Asia/BCA Tbk
During the January-September 2025 period, BCA recorded a net profit attributable to the parent entity that grew by 5.7% (year-on-year/yoy) to Rp43.4 trillion by the end of Q3 2025, up from Rp41.07 trillion previously.
Concurrently, net interest and sharia income reached Rp63.95 trillion. The income of the issuer with ticker BBCA grew by 4.9% compared to January-September last year (yoy).
- PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia/BRI (Persero) Tbk
In its consolidated financial statements, BRI earned a net profit of Rp40.77 trillion in Q3 2025.
The profit for the period attributable to the owners of the parent entity decreased by 9.51% (yoy) from Rp45.06 trillion.
Citing Katadata, the profit of this issuer with ticker BBRI was pressured by provisioning or impairment costs, which increased by 13.99% to Rp33.58 trillion.
Nevertheless, net interest and sharia income recorded an increase of 2.9% (yoy). It was recorded at Rp107.86 trillion in Q3 2024, rising to Rp111 trillion in Q3 2025.
- PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk
Bank Mandiri's profit for the period attributable to the owners of the parent entity was recorded at Rp37.73 trillion in Q3 2025.
The net profit of the issuer with ticker BMRI decreased by 10.20% (yoy) from Rp42.01 trillion previously.
However, net interest, sharia, and insurance income until the end of September 2025 was positive, reaching Rp78.55 trillion, an increase of nearly 3.5% (yoy) from Rp75.9 trillion in September 2024.
- PT Bank Negara Indonesia/BNI (Persero) Tbk
BNI's net profit until the end of Q3 2025 decreased by 7.3% (yoy) to Rp15.23 trillion, from Rp16.43 trillion previously.
Concurrently, the net interest income of the issuer with ticker BBNI was Rp29.25 trillion, down 0.6% compared to January-September last year, which was Rp29.44 trillion.
- PT Bank Tabungan Negara/BTN (Persero) Tbk
BTN's net profit until the end of Q3 2025 increased by 10.6% (yoy) to Rp2.3 trillion, from Rp2.08 trillion previously.
The increase in profit was accompanied by a surge in BTN's net interest income by 43.5% (yoy) to Rp12.76 trillion.
