Maybank Indonesia's (BNII) Profit Jumped 48% in 2025

PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk achieved a profit for the current year attributable to the owners of the parent entity of Rp1.66 trillion in 2025.

The profit of this listed company, BNII, surged by 48.5% compared to 2024 (year-on-year/yoy).

This was supported by BNII's net interest and sharia income, which grew by 1.6% (yoy) to Rp7.22 trillion.

"Throughout 2025, we focused on improving the quality of our revenue and ensuring its sustainability across various business lines that continue to show progress," said Maybank Indonesia President Director Steffano Ridwan in a press release on Wednesday (25/2/2026).

"We also managed our costs diligently and optimized our funding structure, with strong risk management, resulting in increased profitability, coupled with healthier asset quality and a more resilient balance sheet," he added.

In 2025, Maybank Indonesia's total loans disbursed reached Rp123.64 trillion, a decrease of 3.1% (yoy).

However, asset quality improved with a gross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio falling from 2.7% in 2024 to 2.2% in 2025.

By the end of 2025, Maybank Indonesia had assets worth Rp193.72 trillion, a decrease of 1.8% (yoy) in line with the declining loan balance.
