At the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held in March 2025, four state-owned banks (SOEs) in Indonesia determined their cash dividend payouts from last year's profits.
These four SOE banks are PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI), PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), and PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN).
Early this year, Bank Mandiri will distribute a cash dividend of Rp43.5 trillion from its 2024 fiscal year profit. This is equivalent to Rp466.18 per share.
BNI will then issue a dividend of Rp13.95 trillion (Rp374.05 per share), BRI Rp51.74 trillion (Rp343.4 per share), and BTN Rp751.83 billion (Rp53.57 per share).
Furthermore, SOE dividends paid to the state will now be managed by the Nusantara Future Investment Management Agency (Danantara).
"Danantara's authority is to manage all dividends from investment holdings, operational activities, and SOEs," as quoted from the Indonesian government news portal Indonesia.go.id (24/2/2025).
"Currently, Danantara serves as a super holding company for seven large-asset SOEs and investment institutions, namely BRI, Mandiri, BNI, PT Telkom, PT Pertamina, PT PLN, Mind ID, and the Indonesian Financing Institution or Indonesia Investment Authority (INA)," it continued.
