Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 in Modern Markets for the Period February 2025-2026

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 in modern markets of Maluku Province is recorded at Rp20 thousand per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and also over the last week.

Meanwhile, compared to the last month, the daily price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp19.55 thousand per kg.

Over the last three months in Maluku, the daily price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 in modern markets has increased by 4.44% from the previously recorded Rp19.15 thousand per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in June 2022 with a 50% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in August 2020 with a -21.24% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in Maluku show that 12 commodities have decreased and six have increased. The sembako with price decreases are Red Chili, Shallots, Medium-sized Garlic, Medium-sized Shallots, Curly Red Chili, Bird's Eye Chili, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Garlic, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Beef, and Grade 2 Beef.
