The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) released data showing that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Binjai City reached 6.1% in 2023. This figure is a decrease of 0.26% compared to December 2022, which was recorded at 6.36%. Compared to December 2021, the figure decreased by 1.76%.
Since 2018, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Binjai City has shown a downward trend in terms of numbers. Similarly, the post-Covid-19 pandemic period since 2020 has also been followed by a decrease in the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Binjai City.
