Today's Food Prices, December 18, in West Java: Chili and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food items in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (18/12/2025) at 18:22 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 5 commodities decreased.

The only commodity that saw a price increase was broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, Honan garlic, red cayenne pepper, shallots, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken egg prices rose the highest by Rp100 (0.32%) to Rp30,933 per kg. The price of red cayenne pepper saw the sharpest drop by Rp10,050 (12.76%) to Rp68,733 per kg.

7. Honan Garlic: Rp34,400 per kg (down 0.29%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,933 per kg (up 0.32%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,408 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,865 per liter (stable)
