Food Prices Today, January 28 in Banten: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (Jan 28, 2026) at 16:31 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increasing prices are beef hindquarter, shallots, broiler chicken meat, Minyakita, and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, large red chili, Honan garlic, and wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili commodity increased the highest by Rp4,000 (7.14%) to Rp60,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chili decreased the sharpest by Rp333 (0.88%) to Rp37,667 per kg.
