West Java Food Prices Today: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (14/8/2024) at 08.39 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are pure beef, simple packaged cooking oil, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef prices surged the highest by Rp1,330 (1.0%) to Rp134,860 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies fell the most sharply by Rp2,810 (6.64%) to Rp39,480 per kg.
