Today's Food Prices (Jan 27) in Indonesia: Chili Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (Jan 27, 2026) at 2:22 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 showed an increase and 1 a decrease.

Commodities with increased prices were red cayenne pepper and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, only red onion decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Red cayenne pepper commodity increased the most by Rp500 (0.91%) to Rp55,200 per kg. The price of red onion decreased the most by Rp300 (0.68%) to Rp43,600 per kg.
