Today's Food Price Update in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Eggs, Salt, and Beef Down (Saturday, April 6, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (6/4/2024) at 09.09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, red chilies, shallots, large garlic cloves, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp10,020 (25.1%) to Rp49,940 per kg. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt saw the lowest price decrease of Rp810 (6.89%) to Rp10,950 per kg.
