Current Food Prices in Bali: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (20/9/2024) at 13:13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken meat, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, and packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, Indian mackerel, fine iodized salt, red chilies, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk wheat flour saw the highest price increase of Rp250 (2.45%) to Rp10,460 per kg. Red chilies experienced the largest price drop of Rp580 (1.61%) to Rp35,450 per kg.
