Lampung Region Food Prices Saturday (14/12): Sugar, Chili Pepper, and Egg Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (14/12/2024) at 14:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, broiler chicken, bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, red chili peppers, dry soybean (import), shallots, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp4,220 (15.35%) to Rp31,710 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers saw the steepest decrease, dropping Rp3,030 (8.56%) to Rp32,360 per kg.
