Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Up, Salt Down (Saturday, December 2nd, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at 2:21 PM WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 saw price increases and 5 saw price decreases.

Commodities that increased in price are wheat flour (bulk), red chilies, granulated sugar, curly red chilies, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, broiler chicken, premium rice, medium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp2,870 (3.5%) to Rp84,830 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the lowest price decrease, down by Rp280 (2.35%) to Rp11,610 per kg.
