Current Food Prices in Banten: What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (30/9/2024) at 11:25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, fine iodized salt, red chilies, shallots, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, curly red chilies, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp5,820 (14.5%) to Rp45,960 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the sharpest decrease, falling Rp3,010 (9.35%) to Rp29,180 per kg.
