The price of low-quality grade II rice in East Kalimantan is Rp 13,300 per kg (Thursday, February 10, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 12,000 per kg for low-quality grade II rice (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces, as of Thursday, February 10, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 12,010 per kg.

Low-quality grade II rice in modern markets in East Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 13,300 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of low-quality grade II rice in this province remained unchanged. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region was Rp 17,350 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands Province, low-quality grade II rice was sold at Rp 12,800 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Following in third place, the price of low-quality grade II rice in North Sulawesi was Rp 12,800 per kg, North Sumatra Rp 12,500 per kg, and West Papua Rp 12,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, six provinces had low-quality grade II rice sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for low-quality grade II rice were Central Java, East Java, and Jambi.
