Food Prices Today (07/1) in Jambi: Red Chili Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (Jan 7, 2026) at 17:35 WIB, out of 15 commodities, 3 increased and 1 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were large red chili, red onion, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, only cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp2,111 (6.48%) to Rp34,667 per kg. The price of cayenne pepper dropped the sharpest by Rp1,667 (3.03%) to Rp53,333 per kg.
