Latest Food Prices in East Java: Red Chili Rises, Eggs Fall

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (6/11/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 11 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili, packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, red bird's eye chili, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, SPHP rice, broiler chicken eggs, pure beef, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili increased the most by Rp2,067 (4.21%) to Rp51,208 per kg. The price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most by Rp45 (0.72%) to Rp6,180 per kg.
