East Java Food Prices Today: Egg Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (26/10/2024) at 15.32 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, fine iodized salt, premium rice, skipjack tuna, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Layer chicken eggs saw the highest price increase of Rp320 (1.27%) to Rp25,460 per kg. The price of Indian mackerel experienced the steepest decrease, falling by Rp550 (1.64%) to Rp33,080 per kg.
