Today's Food Price Update in Banten: Prices of Chilies, Rice, and Beef Rise (Tuesday, February 27, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (27/2/2024) at 13:15 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, premium rice, broiler chicken, milkfish, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, curly red chilies, chicken eggs, medium rice, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp10,910 (17.45%) to Rp73,430 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp2,840 (3.48%) to Rp78,770 per kg.
