Food Prices in West Sumatra on Tuesday (Nov 4): Rice, Red Chili, and Buffalo Meat Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (Nov 4, 2025) at 08.01 AM WIB, out of 24 commodities, 11 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were mackerel, broiler chicken meat, broiler chicken eggs, consumption sugar, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic (bulb), pure beef, red bird's eye chili, packaged cooking oil, and fresh local buffalo meat decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour commodity surged highest by Rp833 (6.33%) to Rp14,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped deepest by Rp55,500 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
