Medium-sized Garlic Prices in Modern Markets for the March 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Information Center panel, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in modern markets of Riau Province is recorded at Rp57,500 per kg. This price remained unchanged compared to the previous day and also over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily medium-sized garlic price in modern markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp59,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily medium-sized garlic price in modern markets of Riau has dropped by 6.96% over the past three months. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS panel, the daily medium-sized garlic price in modern markets of Riau Province was traded at Rp61,800 per kg.

The record increase in daily medium-sized garlic prices in modern markets of this province was previously recorded in April 2017 with a 257.5% rise, while the lowest decrease was recorded in March 2017 with a -62.38% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, among the nine staple foods tracked today in Riau, three commodities experienced price drops and ten others increased. The staples with price decreases are Red Cayenne Pepper, Medium-sized Garlic, and Garlic.
