Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onion and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (11/10/2024) at 09.46 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, red chili peppers, bulk cooking oil, medium rice, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp930 (7.93%) to Rp12,660 per kg. Red onion prices decreased the most, by Rp1,930 (8.26%) to Rp21,440 per kg.
