10 Provinces with the Highest Prices for Low-Quality Rice (Friday, June 28, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of IDR 14,350 per kg for low-quality grade I rice in modern markets across several provinces as of Friday, June 28, 2024. Overall, the average price this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of IDR 14,350 per kg.

The daily price of low-quality grade I rice in modern markets in West Papua was the highest in Indonesia, at IDR 17,350 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of low-quality grade I rice in this province is higher, previously recorded at IDR 13,300 per kg.

Meanwhile, in Maluku's modern markets, low-quality grade I rice was sold at IDR 16,200 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of low-quality grade I rice in East Kalimantan was IDR 16,200 per kg, Papua IDR 15,950 per kg, and North Sulawesi IDR 15,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 12 provinces with low-quality grade I rice prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for low-quality grade I rice are North Sumatra, South Kalimantan, and West Nusa Tenggara.
