Latest Indonesian Food Prices: Chili Up, Salt Down (Saturday, April 6, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (6/4/2024) at 12:33 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased in price and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, red chilies, curly red chilies, broiler chicken, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,190 (4.91%) to Rp46,830 per kg. Skipjack tuna saw the lowest price decrease of Rp330 (1.05%) to Rp31,240 per kg.
