Food Prices Today, January 30, in East Java: Onion and Egg Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) as of Friday (January 30, 2026) at 13:54 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 increased and 6 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are red bird's eye chili and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, beef hindquarter, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices surged the highest by Rp3,318 (5.87%) to Rp59,833 per kg. The price of curly red chili dropped the most by Rp715 (2.3%) to Rp30,333 per kg.
