Latest Food Prices in Riau Region: Onions Up, Fish Down (Saturday, December 9, 2023)

The price of several food commodities in Riau today is observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (9/12/2023) at 12:49 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, garlic bulbs, premium rice, red chilies, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, pure beef, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,030 (3.34%) to Rp31,850 per kg. The price of mackerel experienced the lowest decrease of Rp1,510 (3.56%) to Rp40,870 per kg.
