Daily Prices of Green Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets of Riau Province Increased by 71.98% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel's latest information, the daily price of green chilies in Riau Province's traditional markets is recorded at Rp75,500. This price is down Rp1,750 compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets has increased from Rp43,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in Riau over the past three months has increased by 83.92% from the previous record of Rp41,050.

The highest record of daily green chili price increases in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2019 with an increase of 55.94%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2022 with a decrease of -16.77%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Riau show three commodities decreased and ten others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chilies, Medium-Sized White Onions, and White Onions.
