Today's Food Prices (18/12) in East Java: Garlic Up, Rawit Chilies Down

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the Ministry of Trade's Staple Food Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (18/12/2025) at 17.02 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 6 commodities decreased.

The only commodity whose price increased was Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken meat, large red chili, broiler chicken eggs, red rawit chili, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic prices increased the most by Rp200 (0.65%) to Rp30,900 per kg. Meanwhile, red rawit chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp6,970 (11.52%) to Rp53,545 per kg.

3. Curly Red Chili: Rp52,048 per kg (down 3.1%)
4. Shallots: Rp44,879 per kg (down 1.4%)
5. Large Red Chili: Rp41,727 per kg (down 4.57%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp38,591 per kg (down 0.35%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp30,900 per kg (up 0.65%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,061 per kg (down 0.3%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,235 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,168 per liter (stable)
11. Minyakita: Rp16,673 per liter (stable)
12. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp16,242 per kg (stable)
