Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta Friday (26/9), How Much are Red Chilies?

Prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (26/9/2025) at 12:11 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 7 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include packaged cooking oil, large red chilies, bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dried soybean (imported), packaged wheat flour, shallots, skipjack tuna, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chilies saw the highest increase of Rp4,643 (10.24%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chilies experienced the sharpest decrease of Rp2,958 (5.43%) to Rp51,471 per kg.
