The Banten Provincial Government (Pemprov) has raised the provincial minimum wage (UMP) in its region to Rp3,100,881 for 2026.
This figure is up by Rp195,681 or 6.74% from the 2025 UMP of Rp2,905,200.
"Hopefully, this decision will have a positive impact on businesses and the welfare of workers," said Banten Governor Andra Soni in a press release on Wednesday (December 24, 2025).
In addition to setting the UMP, the Banten Provincial Government also set the amount of the regency/city minimum wage (UMK).
This determination is stipulated in Governor's Decree Number 703 of 2025 concerning UMK. This is the result of recommendations from the Banten Provincial Wage Council and proposals from regency/city governments.
