Latest Food Prices in West Java: Chili, Salt, and Egg Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (12/7/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are pure beef, garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, and SPHP rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, shallots, dry soybean (import), and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp3,180 (6.62%) to Rp51,250 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of mackerel decreased the most by Rp2,170 (5.48%) to Rp37,400 per kg.
