Food Prices Today (Dec 19) in West Java: Onion, Bird's Eye Chili, and Red Chili Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have fallen compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessities Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (Dec 19, 2025) at 18:22 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased in price and 6 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are large red chili and bulk granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as wheat flour, Honan garlic, red onion, red bird's eye chili, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity saw the highest increase of Rp1,166 (2.39%) to Rp49,983 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili dropped most sharply by Rp3,500 (5.09%) to Rp65,233 per kg.
