Today's Food Prices, December 19, in Jambi: Red Chili Up, Onion Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (19/12/2025) at 17.35 WIB, out of 15 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were Honan garlic and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, shallots, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity saw the highest jump of Rp1,667 (2.86%) to Rp60,000 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices dropped the deepest by Rp667 (1.76%) to Rp37,333 per kg.

2. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp69,167 per kg (down 1.19%)
3. Curly Red Chili: Rp60,000 per kg (up 2.86%)
4. Large Red Chili: Rp57,167 per kg (down 1.44%)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp42,000 per kg (unchanged)
6. Shallots: Rp37,333 per kg (down 1.76%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp34,667 per kg (up 0.97%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,467 per kg (unchanged)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,833 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,333 per kg (unchanged)
